International Affairs Office Hosts Food Festival and Student Forum

On May 17, 2024, the International Affairs Office held a food festival and student forum to support international students who remained on campus after the April 3 earthquake. The event featured five food stalls from Pakistan, and OIA provided Taiwanese snacks.

Due to the earthquake, classes moved online, and some students went home early. The first student forum on April 24 allowed students to express their concerns and needs. Based on positive feedback, the second forum was combined with the food festival to create a relaxed atmosphere for interaction.
At the event, students enjoyed international foods, learned about different cultures, and interacted with International Affairs Office staff in a friendly setting, fostering mutual understanding and support.
The International Affairs Office will continue to host a third student forum to further care for international students, ensuring they feel included and supported on campus.
